For Jonah Mowry. Whats going on?

Johah Mowry was the teen who posted that moving flash card video  explaining how he was tormented at school for just being who he is.See a video interview with him on Good Morning America here.

Johnny Robinson, the Homecoming King is pretty awesome for doing this though. A real ‘Awww’ moment.

It Gets Better – Cape Town

Students from the University of Cape Town have started their contribution to the It Gets Better project and they are already off to a fine start with one of the world’s most respected and consistent civil rights figures.

Also, it was  interesting that I just read Moffie: The Novel having never heard the word before and here it is in one of their videos.

Check out all their videos on their YouTube channel  here and be sure to give them a thumbs up.

I have much admiration for Anderson Cooper

This was last night and there was another moving story tonight from Anderson Cooper – few people follow these awful stories as doggedly as Anderson. I will upload tonight’s video as soon as it is available. As the wonderful late Amy Winehouse said – tears dry on their own.

Another Life Gone

Via the Make it Better Project

They say early Monday morning, their son, 14-year old Jamey, was found dead after an apparent suicide. He left no note. But they say he was bullied for years in middle school. Jamey even talked about it on  a video he made on YouTube in May.

Quite Possibly The Best It Gets Better Video Yet

This mightn’t be the most polite It Gets Better video but it sure makes a point. I love the listing of famous LGBT people and the fact she tells all kids  that bullying is wrong.
