Add All Three

ieTV’s coverage of a bold and historic protest in Port of Spain, Trinidad calling for the Equal Opportunity Act to include age, sexual orientation and HIV status to its anti-discrimination protections.  The reporter, like most of those who covered the event, included same sex marriage though that was not one of the calls that CAISO was making at this time.

Assi Azar – It Gets Better

Israeli TV host Assi Azar tells kids it gets better. Being a TV guy myself I am happy he did this because even in a progressive country like Israel bullying is still a reality for kids and especially LGBTQ ones.

Former Miss T&T Universe and now designer and stylist Anya Ayoung-Chee speaks on ieTV’s One on One program about her career and her approach to obstacles. Anya became international news a few years ago when a private video was leaked to the internet; she has weathered that storm and says she embraces all aspects of herself including her sexuality.
